This was such a great sequel. I really really enjoyed it and could not put it down. I love to see people getting what is coming to them and Precious is just the girl to make that happen.
She is out to find revenge for the death of her new husband and won’t quit until she gets it. Without giving anything away, things aren’t always what they seem and when you’re faced with enemy’s you sometimes find they’ve changed their ways and aren’t who you thought they were. Precious also finds her ‘first’ again; someone she hadn’t seen since high school and is now the head honcho of a big record company. All the twists and turns don’t allow you to see what’s coming. You think you know how it’s going to end, and then boom – it changes on you and leaves you in shock. I thought a particular part of the ending was a little ‘unrealistic’ but still made for a great lighthearted read.
I see there is another book coming out from Deja King and let me tell you I cannot wait. I’m ordering it right after this. This is a fantastic and brilliant read that will leave you guessing till the end. You really need to have read the first book in this series to fully understand Precious and all that has happened to her in her young life. It’s a very clever story line and one of my new favourite books. Go get them now.
